Barbara Dale Gordon

Barbara Dale Gordon, 75, of Washington, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care, following a brief illness. She was born July 25, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of Clifford and Leona Shafer Andrew Warrick. Mrs. Gordon was Methodist by faith and was a homemaker. She was a great caregiver for her husband. On May 20, 1949, she married James Gordon, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael A. Gordon and Chester W. Gordon, both of Washington; a daughter, Kathleen Krenzelak, of Prosperity; five grandchildren, Tracey Gordon, James R. Gordon, Daniel M. Gordon, James C. Holden, and Michelle Kuhen; and a great grandson, Justin Harris. Deceased are a brother, Clifford Warrick and a sister, Doris Gilleland. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2008, with Rev. Robert Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
