Member of Anawanna Hunting and Fishing Club from Amity Paul L. (Pete) Cox, 84, of Amity, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2003, in Donnell House, Washington. He was born February 8, 1919, in Greene County, a son of James Benjamin and Deborah Gump Cox. Mr. Cox was a farmer and was employed by Winnett Lumber. He was a member of Anawanna Hunting and Fishing Club. Surviving are three brothers, Charles Raymond Cox of Amity, Eugene D. "Bus" Cox of Washington and Donald R. Cox of Amity; and his caregiver and nephew, Thomas B. Cox of Amity. Deceased are five sisters, Helen Marie Cox, Frances Cox, Lillian Bedillion, Margaret Shoup and Lucille Florence Fitzwilliams; and four brothers, James H., Robert E., John K. and Arthur Wayne Cox. COX - Friends of Paul L. Cox of Amity, who died Monday, October 6, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 9, with the Rev. Paul Harrington officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Ruff Creek.
