Gloria Jean Anthony

Gloria Jean Anthony, 62, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in her home, following a seven-month illness. She was born March 16, 1945, in Washington, a daughter of Luke and Julia Kolano Duball. Mrs. Anthony graduated from Trinity High School and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Since 1973, she was general manager of Northgate-Westgate Apartments, in Washington. On November 1971, she married John W. Anthony, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Chelise (Chris) Bernett, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; a brother, John Duball, of Washington; a granddaughter, Madelyn Bernett; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Michael and Louis Duball; and two sisters, Mary Rose Colussi and Doloris Beton. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008, with Father Nicholas Spirko officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
