Rodney Harold Yerger

Rodney Harold Yerger, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Thursday, June 19, 2008, in his residence. He was born December 31, 1948, in Allentown, a son of Harold and Anna Mae Butterwick Yerger. Mr. Yerger was a machinist gunsmith and had worked at Federal Firearms for five years. He enjoyed fly-fishing and owned and operated a fly-tying business. Mr. Yerger was Catholic by faith. On May 5, 1973, he married Elaine Suhon, who survives. Surviving are a son, Rodney H. (Isabelle) Yerger, Jr. of Laurel, Maryland; a daughter, Rebecca Ann (Ryan) Croyle of York; and two grandchildren, Stella and Lydia Yerger. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, with Pastor Bob Verno officiating.
