Born in the Bronx, New York, in 1924, Lyn enjoyed a happy childhood along with her sister, Lillian.
Engaged to the love of her life, Herbert Chase, right before he was called into the army to serve in WW II, Lyn waited patiently until March, 1945, to finally marry and begin her 62 year long adventure with Herb. After moving to Manhattan, Lyn and Herb set about the task of raising two sons, Glenn and Bob.
Lyn's son, Glenn remembers going with his parents to Rockaway Beach in the summertime to cool off and swim in the ocean. The Chase's also owned a bungalow in the Catskills, where they all passed memorable hours.
Once her children were grown, Lyn worked as an executive secretary at Bristol Meyers.
After Herb retired from the auto radiator company that he owned, and Lyn from Bristol Meyers, they migrated to West Palm Beach to luxuriate in the sun, swim in the pool, and sit by the beach.
Lyn loved to sit by the pool and gossip with neighbors, and she could play Mahjong by the hour. An avid reader, Lyn whiled away many an hour with her nose in a book as well. All in a well-deserved life of leisure.
Always well liked because of her kind heart and friendly disposition, Lyn was a breath of fresh air to all of her friends at the ADC.
