Ila Kathryn Bell, 69, of Washington, died Sunday, September 7, 2008, in Donnell House, Washington. She was born October 14, 1938, in East Finley Township, a daughter of John and Belva Dillie Coffield. Mrs. Bell enjoyed flowers, shopping and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a crossing guard for Trinity Area School District in Wolfdale. On September 10, 1955, she married Ronald M. Bell, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Rickie T. (Denise) Cox of Washington; two brothers, James (Ellen) McGuier of Prosperity and John Riley Coffield of Washington; three sisters, Niomi Parker of Ohio, Faye Hess of Pittsburgh and Ellen (Richard) Drosdick of Texas; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Nathan Cox and William and Kristofer Rush; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Robert McGuier. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 10. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
