Granville A. Cohenour

Granville A. Cohenour, 77, of Hickory, died on Friday, January 14, 2005, at his residence, following a lingering illness. He was born on December 8, 1927 in Blue Sulphur Springs, W, a son of Andrew and Elsie Bryant Cohenour. Mr. Cohenour worked as a Time Getter at Norfolk and Western Raiload, and worked out of Mingo Junction. He enjoyed garage sales and auction. He and his wife co-owned Cohenour Personal Care Home in Hickory for 23 years. Mr. Cohenour was a veteran of the United Stated Air Force, and he served in Alaska. On October 4, 1980, he married Hannah J. “Bettyâ€쳌 Medlen, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Dale Cohenour, of Gilbert, WV; 2 sisters, Betty Ellis of Gilbert, WV and Dorrie Hemrick of Alderson, WV. Deceased are 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends and Family of Granville A. Cohenour, who died Fridday, January 14, 2005, will be received Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd.; 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA, where services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m., wit the Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Prospect Cemetery in Hickory, PA.
