John Edward McMasters, 70, of Washington, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 24, 2004 in his home. He was born on April 18, 1934 in Washington, a son of John and Icy Burgess McMasters. He had attended Trinity Schools. Mr. McMasters was a Korean War veteran and worked for many years as a Tow Truck Driver for Isimingers Towing. Surviving are three sons, John E. McMasters of Norfolk, Virginia, Rob McMasters of the state of Indiana, and David McMasters of Washington; a daughter Christy McMasters of Nashville, Tennessee; a brother James Rosen of Washington; five sisters, Goldie Holmes, Alice DePaoli, and Florence Jean Rosen, all of Washington, Betty White of New Castle, and Edna Mae Plants of Youngstown; and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Rae McMasters who died as an infant.
Arrangements are under the direction of William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. A memorial service will be held at a time and date to be announced.
