Jacqueline Leah Philips, 55, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Sunday, July 26, 2009, in Orlando, Florida.
She was born June 15, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Albina Fisher Duncan.
Ms. Philips attended Washington High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Robert (Jennifer) Philips of Orlando, Florida; three daughters, Nicole Philips (Jose) Maldonado of Orlando, Florida; Jacqueline Philips of Eastlake, Ohio, and Alicia (Danny) Hernandez of Orlando; two brothers, Joe (Dixie) Duncan of Eastlake, Ohio, and Jace (LeAnn) Duncan of Cleveland, Ohio; five sisters, Joyce (Roy) Stray of Chardon, Ohio, Jane Christopher of McDonald, Ohio, Jeannette (John) Roble and June (Keith) Wilkerson, both of Washington, and Tammy Clark of West Finley; six grandchildren, Natalia Estremera, Jilliana and Giana Hernandez, Johnathan and Julian Maldonado, and Xavier Grant.
Deceased are a brother, John Duncan, and a sister, Josephine Gray.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1st. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
