Harry Francis Earley, 82, of Washington, died on Thursday, March 11, 2004, in the Washington Hospital after having been in declining health. He was born in Washington on August 29, 1921, a son of Harry Edward and Catherine Griffin Earley. Mr. Earley was Catholic by faith. He spent several years working in the Civilian Conservation Corps in various parts of the United States. Later, he served in the United States Navy in World War II having received the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Campaign Medal with 8-stars, and the Philippine Liberation Medal with 1-star.
Mr. Earley is survived by a son, Dennis James Early of Robinson, Township; a daughter Nancy Earley Urbano also of Robinson, Township; a brother John “ Jack “ Earley of Washington; seven grandchildren, Shawn and Richelle Urbano, Kimberly and Dennis Earley, Jr., Kristen, Todd and Morgan Police; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are a sister, Patricia Earley and a brother Robert Earley.
Friends of Harry Francis Earley, 82, of Washington, will be received on Saturday, March 13, 2004, from 12-noon to 3 pm, the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
