Louis Mitchell, Jr., 72, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008, in Donnell House, following a lengthy illness.
He was born February 8, 1936, in the Lincoln Hill area of Washington, a son of Louis Mitchell, Sr. and Mable Green Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell had worked as a school van driver for D and W Bus Company.
On July 17, 1975, he married Frances Mitchell, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Daniel Mitchell of Charleroi and William Mitchell of Bentleyville; two daughters, Kathy McFall of Washington and Myra Bertrand of Warren, Michigan; four step children, Richard, Michael, Joseph and Cathleen Easingwood, all of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a brother, Charles Mitchell of Pittsburgh; a sister, Marian Piatt of Washington; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Richard, who died November 22, 2007; and a brother, Billy Mitchell.
Friends will be received Noon to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 26th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. No public services will be held.
