Elizabeth J. Parcha, 87, of Washington, died Monday, February 7, 2005, in Donnell House. She was born January 23, 1918, in Washington, a daughter of William J. and Flora Sampson Brown. Mrs. Parcha was a graduate of Washington High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Third United Presbyterian Church in Washington for more than 50 years. Her husband, Walter Parcha, died in 2001. Surviving are a son, Walter V. Parcha and wife Linda of Washington; a grandchild, Rebecca Mulreany; two great-grandchildren, Jenna Elizabeth and Ian Patrick; and a brother, William J. Brown of Arizona. Deceased are two brothers John (Jack) and Lawrence Brown.
Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, with the Rev. Lesley Shoup officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
