Paul William Malarkey, Sr.

Paul William Malarkey, Sr., 72, of Washington, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, in Washington County Health Center, following a six-month illness. He was born December 14, 1936, in Washington, a son of John Willard and Mary R. Morrison Malarkey. Mr. Malarkey was a truck driver at Aero Trucking Company for 30 years and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. He and his wife had recently returned to Washington after living in Florida for 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Arleen Samida Malarkey; two sons, Paul Malarkey of Clearwater, Florida, and Robert Malarkey of Washington; two sisters, Mary “Myrt” Porter of Washington and Barbara Urban of Reading; and four grandchildren, Justin, Christopher, Austin and Timothy Malarkey. Deceased is a brother. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, in Covenant Life Fellowship, 55 Point View Drive, Washington. Casual dress is requested.
