Mark Richard Riggle, 36, of Youngsville, North Carolina, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, May 28, 2009.
He was born September 6, 1972, in Washington, a son of Jeanette L. and Harry Ankrom of Washington and the late Richard Frank Riggle.
Mr. Riggle was a graduate of McGuffey High School and Western Area Career and Technology Center. While living in the Washington area he owned and operated Riggle Auto Body and worked at Cessna’s Auto Body. In North Carolina, he was employed by Haddock Collision Service of Wakefield.
Mr. Riggle enjoyed riding quads, Steeler football and fishing.
He was a member of Lone Pine Christian Church.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his former wife, Nancy Jane Sayre Polewski, a son, Zachery Marten Riggle; a step-daughter, Chelsey Lyn Polewski (Zachary George); a brother, Michael A. (Mila Jean) Riggle of Washington; a sister, Tammy L. (Dan) Dyer of Deland, Florida; a step-brother, Harry (Karen) Ankrom of Tionesta; and two step-sisters, Carol S. Hewitt of Washington and Grace (Bill) Bardella of Banetown.
Friends will be received Friday from 4 till 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6th. Private burial will be held at a later date.
