Cyrus Edward Kelley Jr., 43, of Washington, died Saturday, December 6, 2008, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born March 16, 1965, in Washington, a son of Cyrus Edward Kelley Sr. and Barbara Joann Hannen Kelley of Washington.
Mr. Kelley had worked at Pleiger Plastic Company for 15 years. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved watching football, playing cards and spending time with his family.
He once owned and enjoyed working with his horses at the Meadows Racetrack.
He was Protestant
On September 5, 1998, he married Catheryn Ann Kelley, who survives.
Also surviving are four step-children, Desiree (Brandon) Bertram of Canonsburg, Brian (Shelly) Schmidt of McDonald, Mathew (Yolanda) Schmidt of Baltimore, Maryland, and Justin Schmidt of Burgettstown.; two sisters, Judy Caldwell of Washington and Lisa(Roger) Adams of Clarksville; a half-sister, Bonnie Johnston of Waynesburg; five step grandchildren, Evan Bertram, David Schmidt, Chanelle Schmidt, Haley Schmidt and Ashley Schmidt; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a half-brother, Gary Michael Kelley; and a half-sister, Susan Lynn Cage.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2008, with Rev. Dr. Susan VandeKappelle and Rev. Allen Jeffries co-officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
