Mark Daniel Boardley, 42, of Washington, died Saturday, December 6, 2008, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born January 26, 1966, in Washington, a son of Raymond and Judith Kay Rush Boardley of Washington.
Mr. Boardley was a 1984 graduate of Clay High School, South Bend, Indiana.
He was a member of West Washington United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and helping his father fix up the family home.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Michael John (Amy) Boardley of South Bend, Indiana, and Scott Raymond (Shelley) Boardley of Washington; his paternal grandmother, Blanche Boardley of Washington; and nieces and nephew, Stefanie, Alyssa, Ella, Benjamin and Molly.
Deceased are a special aunt, Susan Rush; maternal grandparents, John and Kathryn Rush; paternal grandfather, Raymond Boardley; and two nephews, Scott Raymond Boardley Jr. and John Michael Boardley.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 11th, with Rev. John Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow Washington Cemetery.
