Audrey A. Melvin

Audrey A. Melvin, 75, of Washington, died Saturday, December 6, 2008, in Donnell House. She was born October 27, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Russell and Hazel Error Weisenberg. Mrs. Melvin was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, cooking, baking, and working in the yard with flowers. She was a member of Friendship Community Church. On September 4, 1954, she married Wilbert L. Melvin, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael Lee Melvin of Columbia, South Carolina, and Donald Patrick (Rita) Melvin of Claysville; a brother, Russell (Debbie) Weisenberg of Bonita Springs, Florida; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the hour of service, Friday, December 12, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating.
