Harold W. “Buckets” Salisberry, 94, of Washington, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008, in Washington County Health Center.
He was born November 9, 1914, in Washington, a son of Huber “Jake” and Julia Anderson Salisberry.
Mr. Salisberry graduated from Washington High School. He worked for 28 years at Hazel Atlas Glass and had been a car salesman. Mr. Salisberry also owned and operated three service stations.
He was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church, BPOE 776, F & AM 164, and a life member of the Arms Club.
Deceased is his wife, Ree Jean Blake Salisberry.
Surviving are two sons, Richard H. Salisberry of Washington and Gary L. Salisberry of Hemphill, Texas; a sister, Geraldine Kinnan of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Scott Salisberry, Troy Salisberry, Shawn Salisberry and Richard Mehl; and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Larry G. Salisberry, who was killed in Vietnam; two sisters, Dorothy Phillips and Earnestine Salisberry, the twin of Geraldine who died at two months of age.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services.
