Lois A. “Mooky” Blake, 82, of Washington, died Monday, December 8, 2008, in Wesleyan Methodist Village, Elyria, Ohio.
She was born September 7, 1926, in Washington, a daughter of Harry and May Young Seibert.
Mrs. Blake worked as a receptionist for 22 years at Pony League Baseball Association.
She enjoyed bowling and was a member of Ladies of the Elks and Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 175.
Mrs. Blake was Protestant.
On September 4, 1945, she married Kenneth E. Blake, who died January 15, 1998.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth “Randy” (Linda) Blake of Elyria, Ohio; three grandchildren, Casey, Tom and Andrew; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Katie; and several nieces and nephews, including Jack Fleissner of Washington.
Deceased are a son, Ronald “Herbie” Blake; and a sister, Mildred Fleissner.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 12th, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
