Mary Lou Oliverio

Mary Lou Oliverio, 70, of Washington, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, in Washington County Health Center. She was born October 2, 1938, in Washington, a daughter of Barney C. and Elma E. Berquist Eckland. Mrs. Oliverio was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School. She worked at J.C. Penney’s for ten years and at Oliverio Insurance Agency for 12 years. Mrs. Oliverio was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed going to the beach, attending her children’s sporting events, and visiting her son in Arizona. On June 22, 1957, she married Samuel Oliverio, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Steve (Lee) Oliverio of Tucson, Arizona, Scott (Kathy) Oliverio of Washington, and Samuel (Tawnya) Oliverio of Morgantown, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Angela (Cole) Hunter, Nicholas Oliverio, Davy Oliverio and Melonie Drake. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or services.
