Robin Marie Beatty

Robin Marie “Rosie” Beatty, 50, of Claysville, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, in her residence. She was born April 28, 1959, in Washington, a daughter of the late Ed and Mary Hilpert Brown. Mrs. Beatty was a 1977 graduate of Trinity High School and was employed as a cashier at Home Depot. Mrs. Beatty enjoyed animals, crafts and gardening. She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary 907 and the American Kennel Club. She was Catholic by faith. On April 8, 1976, she married Walt J. Beatty, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Walt J. Beatty IV of Washington, Shawn E. (Maricela) Beatty of the state of California, and Travis M. Beatty of Washington; three sisters, Carol Bratenoff, Bonnie Prosser and Mary Lou Anderson, all of the state of California; and four grandchildren, Jessie, Dominique, Walt V. “Tank,” and Travis Jr. “T.J.” Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 4th, with Pastor James Markley officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
