Wilma Marie “Billie” Davis, 63, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009, in the Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born July 1, 1946, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Ann B. Crawford Steadman.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Friendship Community Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren.
On August 27, 1966, she married George G. Davis, who died March 18, 1993.
Surviving are five daughters, Beverly Nicklas and Donna Wojcuich, both of Washington, Gerrie Lynn (David) Nagy of Pittsburgh, Charlotte (Joseph) Lowry of Uniontown and Peggy Morris of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three brothers, James Steadman, Thomas (Debbie) Steadman and Charles (Terri) Steadman; a sister, Charlotte Hudson; 10 grandchildren, Joe and Jeremy Wojcuich, Brittany and Jerry Lowry, Brandy Shanaburger, Derek and Jared Morris, and Michael, Jocelyn and Kyleigh Nagy; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 5th, with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
