Wilbert “Piggy” Hutter, 75, of Washington, died Sunday, December 21, 2008, following a lengthy illness.
He was born May 30, 1933, in Washington, a son of John Harry and Mary Woods Hutter.
Mr. Hutter served in the Army National Guard from September 5, 1950 until August 19, 1952. He was called to active duty and earned the Army of Occupation Medal – Germany.
Mr. Hutter was a Steelers fan and enjoyed puzzle books and spending time on his porch.
For 30 years, he worked as a ride operator for Frankie’s Amusements.
Surviving are his companion of 35 years, Sarah Margaret Inghram, four daughters, Chrystal (Ronald) Inghram, Lori (Paul) Harshall, Jamie Inghram and Tammy (Richard) Cox, all of Washington; two brothers, Raymond Hutter and Edward Hutter, both of Youngstown, Ohio; two sisters, Agnes “Betty” Kisner and Patsy Fullgraph, both of Washington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are six brothers, William, Robert, Henry, James, Charles, and Joseph Hutter; and two sisters, Margaret Blasic and Marcella Bird.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and Noon to 2 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, December 27, 2008, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
