Amelia S. “Molly” Sienkiel, 79, of Washington, died Thursday, September 24, 2009, in Donnell House, following a two-month illness.
She was born February 12, 1930, a daughter of Stanley and Stefania Wajtowicz Magdon.
Mrs. Sienkiel graduated from Trinity High School in 1947, and was a homemaker who once worked at Hazel-Atlas, Brockway and RCA.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Church and its Adoration Society.
On May 23, 1948, she married Norbert Sienkiel, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, David (Linda) Sienkiel; a daughter, Laurie (Brent) Adler, both of Washington; five grandchildren, Crystal and Ginger Sienkiel, and Stefania, Stanley and Stacey Adler.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 28th, with Bishop John Mack officiating. All services will conclude at the funeral home. Her final resting place will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
