Margaret M. Littleton, 88, of Washington, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, in Presbyterian Senior Care, following a lengthy illness. She was born November 25, 1920, in Washington, a daughter of James V. and Amelia Fragasso Ruscello. Mrs. Littleton owned Margie’s Dog House Restaurant for ten years. She attended Immaculate Conception Church and was a member of L.O.O.M. Mrs. Littleton was known as a practical joker. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, working and spending time with grandchildren. On April 14, 1973, she married William W. Littleton, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mary “Poochie” Kastanias and Debbie (Garry) Plymire, both of Washington; three step-children, Bruce (Anita) Littleton of Wheeling, Dean Littleton of Cleveland, Ohio, and Starr Rene (Earl) Cunningham of Ohio; two brothers, Ralph Ruscello and Ernest Ruscello, both of Washington; a sister, Evelyn Beckinger of Washington; six grandchildren, Robert Mack Sr., Valerie Mack, Samuel (Carla) Mack, Robert (Shana) Smith, Melissa (Brad) Davis and Justin Plymire; and 21 great-grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers, Louis V., James and John Ruscello; and two sisters, Josephine Greco and Anna Ruggiero. Friends will be received 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 21st, with Father Nick Spirko officiating. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Church. Memorial donations may be made to Garry and Debbie Plymire in care of the funeral home.
