Norma Jean Auld

Norma Jean Ullom Boyles Auld, 76, of Washington, died Saturday, February 14, 2009, in the Washington Hospital. She was born October 26, 1932, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Harry S. and Kathryn Rush Ullom. Mrs. Auld was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School and worked as an inspector at Metro Glass Company for 20 years. She enjoyed baking, traveling, gardening and watching football. Mrs. Auld was a member of West Washington United Methodist Church, L.O.O.M. 22, Eagles 687, VFW 927 and the ladies auxiliary of Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 of the American Legion. Surviving are a son, James (Bev) Boyles of Merrimon, North Carolina; a daughter, Kathy Frame of Washington; two grandchildren, Nicole Frame and Ryan M. Beck; and three great-grandchildren, Miriah Bedillion, Shane Beck and Kaylee Beck. Deceased are a sister and two brothers who died in infancy. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 18th. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Park.
