Elizabeth A. Williams, 53, of Lakewood, Colorado, formerly of Washington, died February 15, 2009, in her residence.
She was born February 28, 1955, in Washington, a daughter of Edgar K. “Lefty” Lauther of Washington and the late Agnes Lenore Flynn Lauther.
Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School and Duquesne University. She was a law enforcement officer and investigator for the federal government, involved with investigating black lung disease cases.
Mrs. Williams enjoyed crocheting, bicycling and learning photography.
On November 24, 1984, she married Tom Williams, who survives.
Also surviving are many loving cousins and friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., the hour of a memorial service, Monday, March 2nd, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Inurnment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
