Dorothy Mae Korczyk

Dorothy Mae Korczyk, 87, of Washington, died Saturday, October 10, 2009, in the Donnell House. She was born on September 16, 1922, in Solon, Iowa, a daughter of Albert and Jenny Parsons. While living in Washington, she had attended Saint Hilary Roman Catholic Church. On July 28, 1951, she married Raymond J. Korczyk who survives. Also surviving are two brother-in-laws, Richard and Robert Korczyk. Preceding her in death is her brother, Samuel Parsons. Friends of Dorothy Mae Korczyk, 87, of Washington, who died Saturday, October 10, 2009, will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at 10:00 AM in Saint Hillary Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The family is requesting no flowers be sent to the funeral home and that donations be made to: Washington Hospital Hospice, Donnell House, Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
