Margaret Eileen McCullough, 81, of Washington, died Sunday, October 18, 2009.
She was born December 31, 1927, in Washington, a daughter of Alfred L. and Alverta Lattimore Campbell.
Mrs. McCullough was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, flowers, crafts and shopping.
She was a member of Third United Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. McCullough was very active in Edwin Scott Linton American Legion Post 175 Ladies Auxiliary, where she was past president.
On June 9, 1945, she married Charles D. “Chabby” McCullough, who died August 15, 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Jack (Wanda) McCullough and Charles D. (Catherine) McCullough, Jr.; two daughters, Mary (Donald) Carl and Susan (David) Baker; a sister, Mary McCracken, all of Washington; 11 grandchildren, Donald and Traci Carl, Christine Brown, Steven, Amy, Brian, Jay and Kory McCullough, and David, Jonathan and Julie Baker; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, William, Alfred and Clifford Burnett; a sister, Hazel Dental; a grandchild, Marcie L. McCullough; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009, with Rev. Thomas P. Bellhy officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
