Linda Lucille Chase

Linda Lucille Chase, 58, of Washington, died on Monday, October 19, 2009, in her residence, after a 2 ½ year illness. She was born on September 15, 1951, in Bridgeville, a daughter of the late Roy Mahan and Lucille Freshwater Mahan, of Washington. Ms. Chase was a homemaker. She had attended Chartiers Valley High School. Linda loved music, bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed writing poetry. On October 22, 1968, she married her beloved soul mate, Robert Chase, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert (Benita) Chase, Jr., of McDonald; 3 daughters, Crystal (Perry) Chase, of Washington; Brenda (Frank) Abbott, of Houston and Cathie (Roger) Acklin, of Washington; a brother, Clifford Mahan, of Cecil, PA; 10 grandchildren, David, Summer, Frankie, Amanda, Harley, Joey, Josh, Cheyann, Chris and Junior; an uncle, Gardner Freshwater; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a grandchild, Robby. Friends will be received on Thursday, from 2-4 & 5-7 p.m. in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301. Services will immediately follow visitation on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating
