Dorothy R. Breedlove

Dorothy R. Breedlove, 94, of Washington, died Sunday, January 11, 2009, in Washington County Health Center. She was born November 24, 1914, in McConnellsburg, a daughter of John and Daisy Elvey Wible. Mrs. Breedlove was a member of First Baptist Church of Washington and the Washington Hospital Auxiliary. She loved to sew and play the piano. For ten years, she worked for the City of Washington in the Assessors Office. On April 17, 1937, she married William Howard Breedlove, who died February 9, 1981. Surviving are a daughter, Judith Mumper of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are nine brothers and sisters. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will be private in Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Gulf Tower, 707 Grant Street, 37th Floor Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1916.
