Georgetta Cathryn Keil

Washington homemaker. Georgetta Cathryn Keil, 63, of Washington, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, in Washington Hospital, following a yearlong battle with lung cancer. She was born January 8, 1946, in Morgantown, W.Va., a daughter of the late Theodore R. and Marguerite Watters O'Brien. Mrs. Keil was a homemaker. She was Methodist. On October 9, 1964, she married Darrell Lee Keil, who died April 28, 1986. Surviving are a son, David L. (Debbie) Keil of Washington; a daughter, Lisa C. Keil of Beallsville; a brother, Robert H. O'Brien of Florida; two sisters, Betty Riser and Barbara Mankey, both of Washington; and three grandchildren, Nicholas Keil, Daniel Phillips and Shelby Phillips. Deceased are two sisters, Norma J. Welsh and Delores Johnson, and a brother, Richard A. O'Brien. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 3. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
