Faye M. Belcastro, 85, of Washington, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, in the Donnell House, after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 11, 1924, in Claysville, a daughter of William O. and Gladys Sampson Danley.
She was a member of the Fourth United Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Belcastro was a seamstress for many years. She had also worked at RCA in Meadowlands.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and loved taking care of her family.
Mrs. Belcastro had been a resident of Humbert Lane for 6 years, where she was an avid bingo player.
She was a graduate of Claysville High School.
On February 22, 1956, she married Sam Belcastro, who died on November 12, 1983.
Surviving are a son, William H. (Jean) Cline, and a daughter, Cynthia R. Belcastro, both of Washington; a brother, David Danley, of Chicago; a sister, Barbara Patterson, of Washington; 4 grandchildren, Amy (Jerry) Frazee, of Washington; Lisa C. (Travis) Smith, of Eighty-Four; Sara A. (Billy) Schumacher, of Washington; and Kathleen Cline and her fiancee', Joe Bali, of Herndon, VA; 7 great grandchildren, Austin, Maura and Ella Smith; Madyson, Savannah and Wyatt Frazee, and Taylor Schumacher.
Deceased are an infant daughter, 3 brothers, Edwin (Ed), Robert and Richard Danley, and a sister, Gladys and a brother, John, who both died as infants.
Friends will be received on Sunday, from 7-9, and Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA, where services will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 11:00 A.M., with the Rev. Dr. Susan VandeKappelle officiating. Burial will follow at Claysville Cemetery.
