Charlotte Helen Barber

Charlotte Helen Barber, 90, of Amwell Township, formerly of Chicago, Illinois and Edison, New Jersey, died Sunday, September 28, 2008, in her residence. She was born October 21, 1917, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of George and Fern Biddle Senger. Mrs. Barber was a homemaker and loved to read. She was Protestant. On August 20, 1938, she married Robert Milton Barber, who died April 7, 1962. Surviving are two daughters, Karen Lee Martin of Amity, and Janice E. (Carl) Altevogt of Littleton, Colorado; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, George Senger, and a sister, Cleo Senger. There will be no public visitation or services. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, is in charge of arrangements.
