March 5, 1924 — April 2, 2009

Change of Address Notification: This is to inform all that Edith Jane Miller Campbell, 85, (formerly of 319 Wellness Way Washington PA) now has a new residence and a new body in Heaven. She moved into her new residence April 2nd around 8:30 pm as soon as the Word passed down that the landscaping was done, paint was dry, and the furniture all moved in. There is no forwarding service at this time but all desired correspondence should now be in verbal form to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who she is in the presence of and will be talking with personally. She joins those that have moved on before her, her late husband Rev. David A. Campbell, Eugene B. Yohe (her beloved companion), her sister Eleanor Louise Bridges, her father and mother Claire Donald and Elizabeth McKinlay Thomson Miller. It has not been confirmed but is suspected that they will be escorting her to the "So You Are New 2 Heaven" classes. She was born into this world on March 5, 1924, in Pittsburgh, was a 1941 graduate of Perry High School and a 1945 graduate of Muskingum College. She taught biology in Ohio before becoming an English teacher in the McGuffey School District, where she taught from 1968 until her retirement in 1994. Mrs. Campbell loved to travel and loved to sing. She was a member of Church of the Covenant, where she had been an elder and Sunday School teacher. On July 9, 1949, she married Rev. David Armstrong Campbell, who moved on before her to his new dwelling, January 25, 1978. We who are still here rejoicing in her move, are as follows: a son, James G. Campbell of Dublin, Ohio; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Campbell of Millington, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Rhoda Campbell of Sebring, Ohio; a grandchild, Angel Durbin; a very close niece and nephew, Kathleen Rodman and Dan Bridges. For those of us that are left behind to rejoice in her passing and celebrate her life and gifts (and grieve our world's diminishment), arrangements are as follows: Viewing and reception will be Thursday, April 9th from 7-9 pm and Friday, April 10th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. A memorial service open to all on Saturday the 11th at 1:30pm with reception will be held at: Church of the Covenant (Rev. Dr. Stuart D. Broberg officiating) 267 East Beau Street Washington PA 15301. A private committal of the previous residence will be held in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Pittsburgh. God Bless you all and keep you. Grieve not, but rejoice for Edith!!!!! May the Love, Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all!
