Army vet was former owner of the Dog House Restaurant. Evan Lee "Rocky" Richmond, 66, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, in Washington Hospital. He was born November 11, 1942, in Washington, a son of Enlow Daniel "Jick"쳌 and Margaret Rose Morgan Richmond. Mr. Richmond attended Penn Commercial after graduating high school. He worked at Jessop Steel, Timberland Restaurant and Friendship Village of South Hills and was the former owner of the Dog House Restaurant. Mr. Richmond was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Houston American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and shooting pool. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Andrews; two sons, Jason Evan Richmond of Bridgeville and Ryan Lee (Christine) Richmond of Edinburg, Va.; a stepson, David Andrews; a stepdaughter, Julie (John) Liles; a brother, Daniel M. (Iris) Richmond of Wellington, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Emilee M. Richmond, Chelsea Andrews, Christian Liles and Emma Liles. Deceased are his parents, Enlow Daniel (Jick)쳌 Richmond and Margaret Rose Morgan Richmond. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29,2009. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Military rites will be accorded by Houston Post 902, of the American Legion and James Perry Post 191, Veterans of Foreign War.
