Robert G. Dunn

Robert G. Dunn, 84, of Prosperity, died on Thursday, August 6, 2009, at his residence. He was born October 17, 1924, in West Union, PA, a son of Jessie Cole and John I. Dunn. Mr. Dunn was a graduate of Morris Township High School. He was a member of Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church. Mr. Dunn worked at Union Camp for 40 years, as a printing press operator. On June 29, 1951, he married Mona Lou McVay, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Greg R. (Susan) Dunn, of Prosperity; a daughter, Jennifer Dunn, of Potsdam, NY; 2 grandchildren, Greg R. (Mandy) Dunn, Jr., Robert R. (Leslie) Dunn and 2 great grandchildren, Riley and Erin Dunn. Deceased are a son-in-law, Randy Mayo; 7 brothers, James "Jack", J. Golie, William, Neal, Rex, Frank and Fred; and 3 sisters, Mary Nelan, Edna Day and Inez White. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 4 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2009, with Pastor Larry Deemer officiating. Burial will follow in the Prosperity Cemetery.
