Elizabeth Jean Jones

Elizabeth Jean �Betty� Jones, 82, of Washington, died Sunday, March 1, 2009. She was born August 31, 1926, in Washington a daughter of Albert and Grace Kohn Filosi. For 16 years, Mrs. Jones worked as a registered nurse in the coronary care unit of Washington Hospital. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and enjoyed working on her computer, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. On September 2, 1948, she married Edward H. Jones, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Susan (Michael) Coyne of Washington; and three grandchildren, Michelle, Sean and Kerry Coyne. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5th, in Immaculate Conception Church. Private entombment will be in Washington Cemetery.
