Sharon Ruth Mcmillen

Sharon Ruth McMillen, 55, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 11, 2009, in Washington Hospital, following a six-year illness. She was born August 24, 1953, in Washington, a daughter of Dorothy J. McMullen Moore of Washington and the late Paul R. “Dick” Moore. Mrs. McMillen graduated from Trinity High School in 1971. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and grandchildren. On September 16, 1972, she married Robert J. McMillen, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Robert J. McMillen, Jr., Jason R. McMillen and Erik G. (Natalie) McMillen, all of Washington; a brother, Thomas (Phyllis) Moore; four sisters, Carol McCoy, Paula (Rich) Hallam, Lorain (Scott) Mayer and Tami (Dave) Perrotta; two grandchildren, Guy T. Markley and Erik G. McMillen; her mother-in-law, Jeanine McMillen; a brother-in-law, Gary McMillen; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Debbie Barr. Deceased, in addition to her father, are her father-in-law, George E. McMillen; and a brother-in-law, Robert McCoy. Friends will be received 11 till 11:30 a.m., the hour of service, Thursday, August 13, 2009, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Gary McMillen officiating.
