James "Peck" Russell Roberts

Construction worker for Local 373. James Russell "Peck" Roberts, 81, of Washington, formerly of Webster, died at 6:05 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2005, in his residence, following a six-month illness. He was born June 30, 1924, in Webster, a son of James P. and Nettie Smith Roberts. Mr. Roberts was a construction worker for Local 373 for 40 years. He enjoyed dog races. On September 27, 1956, he married Agnes Pastirik, who survives. Also surviving are two children; four stepchildren; and a brother. Deceased is a sister. At the request of the family, all services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
