Stanley Edward Wrubleski, Sr., 82, of Washington, died Thursday, October 15, 2009, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born November 24, 1926, in Muse, a son of Andrew and Regina Ogonowski Wrubleski.
Mr. Wrubleski enjoyed models, especially ships, Navy ships and airplanes, playing Texas Hold-em, and playing with his grandchildren.
For over 49 years, he was employed by Camalloy.
On December 29, 1955, he married Vivian Townsend, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Stanley (Roberta) Wrubleski, Jr., of Washington, Joseph Wrubleski, Lindsay Wrubleski and Matthew (Bonnie) Wrubleski, all of Texas; four daughters, Robin Davidson, Tracy Wrubleski and Chris Hunter and Kelly (Greg) McElhaney, all of Washington; a sister, Tracie Bahill of Tucson, Arizona; 11 grandchildren, Jason and Seth Wrubleski, Buddy and Raine Davidson, Kayla and Matthew Wrubleski, Jimmy and Breann Hunter, Renna Wrubleski, and Gunner and Gage McElhaney; and a great-grandchild, Noah Davidson.
Deceased are four brothers, Albert, Sylvester, Frank and Lindy Wrubleski; and a sister, Jenny Chorzempa.
As per the wishes of the deceased, burial was private in Washington Cemetery. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington, was in charge of arrangements.
