Amy Jane Faris, 57 of Washington, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at home. She was born June 29, 1961 in Washington, the daughter of Robert S. Randolph of Sycamore and the late Margaret Poland Randolph. Amy was a graduate of Trinity High School and was a member of Friendship Community Church. She was a certified nursing assistant and worked with the mentally challenged. Amy loved reading, all kinds of puzzles, watching the “Golden Girls” on television and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. On December 2, 1989, she married James Timothy Faris, who died October 17, 2013. Surviving are a son, James Robert Faris of Washington; two daughters, Jamie Roberta (Jordan Darnell) Faris of Washington, Brittany (Andrew) Campbell of West Middletown; a stepdaughter, Kaitlyn (Michael) Ornot of Claysville; a brother, Robert (Luann) Randolph of Ohio; two sisters Lavinia (Kenneth) Spriggs of Sycamore and Margaret (Douglas) Monk of Marianna; five grandchildren, Jaden Darnell, Lucy Darnell, Neil Campbell, Kirah Ornot and Owen Ornot, and many nieces and nephews.
