Archie "Ike" Davis

Archie “Ike” Davis, 81 of Claysville, died Monday, October 29, 2018 at home. He was born November 23, 1936 in Short Creek, WV, the son of the late Leroy Davis and Beulah Toland Davis. Mr. Davis worked at Brockway Glass for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing horseshoe, camping, gardening, cooking, entertaining and going on picnics. He also loved spending time with his family. On November 18, 1977, he married Ruth Bell, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Hank (Niki) Davis of Triadelphia; a daughter, Sue (Tom) Jenkins of Belle Vernon; four brothers, Ferris Davis of Pleasant Grove, John Davis of North Franklin, Jim (Linda) Davis and Clyde Davis both of Pleasant Grove; two sisters, Elsie Schumacher of Washington and Shirley (William) Stinger of Dallas, WV; three grandchildren, Brody, Braydon and Kylie and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are three sons, Kevin and David Davis and Archie Davis Jr; three brothers, Clarence Davis, Joe Davis and Randall Davis; a sister, Sarah Lilley. Friends will be received Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Meade Lacock officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Concordia Hospice, 10 Leet St., Washington, PA 15301.
