Barbara Knestrick Ardeno

Barbara Reganine Knestrick Ardeno, 81, of Washington, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, in her home.

She was born February 22, 1944, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert Kenneth Knestrick and Evelyn Jean McClelland Knestrick.

Barbara attended Immaculate Conception High School.

She was employed by Washington Crown Center, where she worked in the housekeeping department.

Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They often watched cartoons together and especially enjoyed watching Masha and the Bear. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to flea markets, and eating ice cream.

On April 17, 1960, she married Frank Ardeno Jr., who passed away December 26, 1995.

Surviving are three sons, Frank Ardeno III, Michael Ardeno and Robert (Lori) Ardeno; a sister, Beverly (Charlie) Haddix; three grandchildren, Chantel Anna Marie Ardeno, Brian Michael Ardeno and Joshua Edward Ardeno; and nine great-grandchildren, Briar Ardeno, Colt Ardeno, Braelyn Ardeno, Izah May, Jasiah May, Alayah May, Billy Black, Heavenly Ardeno and Joshua Ardeno Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, is a sister, Geraldine McCombs.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, with Pastor Eric Toohey officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
