Barbara "Bonnie" Lee Lunsford

Barbara “Bonnie” Lee Upman Lunsford, age 83, of Washington passed away on August 27, 2025.

Bonnie was born on January 12, 1942, in Ellicott City, Maryland.

Barbara took great pride in being a homemaker and raising her children.

She loved painting, crocheting, cats, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie volunteered her time at the Washington Area Senior Center for nearly ten years, where she organized their Saturday meals, among other events and activities.

Bonnie is survived by her son, James (Sherry) W. Lunsford Jr; daughters, Barbara Ann Fleming and Dolores (Larry) Miller; grandchildren, James (Callie) Miller, Charles (Laura) Miller, and Jeremy Miller; two great grandchildren, Anna Miller and Arthur Miller; a brother-in-law, Alvin Naide; a sister-in-law, Rose Upman; a niece, Janice; and nephews, Larry Jr., John, and Tom.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Naide; brother, Larry Upman; and a niece, Natalie.

Friends and family will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a service will be held at 12 p.m.
