Barbara Lee Brenner

Barbara Lee Brenner, 81, of Washington, died on Monday, September 10, 2018, in the Washington Hospital. She was born on January 13, 1937, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Mounts Hartzell. A 1954 graduate of Trinity High School, she was a member of North Buffalo United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Brenner had worked as a medical assistant, a waitress at the Dog House Diner, and as a homemaker. Barbara loved spending time with her family, was famous for her delicious meatballs, and enjoyed reading and solving crossword puzzles. On November 22, 1956, she married William Brenner, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Sharon (John) Kuhn, of Prosperity, Sandy (James) Wilkinson, of Washington, Vicki (Matthew) Miller, of Lewes, DE, and Pam (Ron) Thompson, of Washington; fifteen grandchildren, Jessica, Kristi, Mikey, Dylan, Billy, Lindsey, Kaycee, Dalton, Connor, Tamara, Cody, Mackenzie, Vanessa, Brian and Johnny; eighteen great grandchildren, Ava, Isla, Eden, Miriam, Brynn, Skye, Myka, Elle, Cash, Casen, Levi, Remmie, Jake, Chevy Mae, Rylee, Rhett, Ryker and Mia; a brother-in-law, Richard Brenner; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Robert and Donald Hatrzell, and a sister, Jean Ankrom.   Friends will be received on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 15, 2018, with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities, 451 44th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
