Barbara Ann Martin

Barbara Ann Martin, 91, of North Franklin Township, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in Premier Healthcare, Washington.

She was born November 11, 1933, in Washington, a daughter of the late Charles Clifford and Verna Ackley Martin.

Barbara attended Washington Schools. She worked in housekeeping as well as in the food service at Club 40.

She was Baptist in faith.

Barbara loved cooking and eating good food as well as shopping. Barbara was such a mild, easy-going and generous person and had a very strong family bond; she never missed a family function. She always loved Christmas, holidays, and birthday get-togethers and was an avid gift giver. Her generosity extended to supporting charities as well.

She is survived by her nephew, Rodney Temple (Patricia) and her great-niece, Elizabeth Temple (Ryan Briceland).

In addition to her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her brothers, Bobby Martin, William Martin (Sandy) and Edward Martin; and her sister, Shirley Temple Hopkins.

There will be no public visitation. Friends and family are welcome to a Committal Service in the Chapel at Washington Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
