Barbara Stollar

Barbara G. Stollar, 78, of Washington, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, at UPMC Washington Hospital.

She was born on October 27, 1947, in Washington, a daughter of the late Gaylord Stollar and Martha Taylor Stollar.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Deanna Folkens, and her husband, Tom; her brother, John Stollar; her brother-in-law, Jim; her niece, Becke Keener; and her nephew-in-law, Mike Miller.

Barbara was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School and a member of the Free Methodist Church. Throughout her career, she worked at Peppino’s Deli and Brockway Glass, as well as cleaning law offices for many years. She also enjoyed teaching baton twirling to many majorettes, a role she held for many years.

In her free time, Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, visiting casinos, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, even if she didn’t know their names.

Barbara is survived by her nieces, Marcy Frame and her husband, Jeff, and Bonnie Miller; her nephew, Jim Reedy, and his wife, Maryann; and her lifelong friend, Marci McAdoo, and her husband, Billy. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessie and Ray Moore, Samantha and Tim Angert, Taylor and Austin Dillon, Erica and Preston Stull, Megan Keener, William Kyle McAdoo and Megan McAdoo, Cole McAdoo and Hailey Bedillion; and many great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

Friends and family are invited to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA, on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
