Bernadine "Dee" Ruth Ryan

Bernadine "Dee" Ruth Ryan, a loving parent to many and member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church, passed away at home on the morning of Wednesday, October 8th, 2025.

Dee was born May 14th, 1951, on the northside of Pittsburgh, a daughter of the Late Leo Cunningham and Evelyn Donelly Cunningham.

She was a devoted Avon Sales Representative for over 40 years and an established member of the President's Club.

Dee was a devout Christian and a longtime member of the Fairhill Manor Christian Church.

She enjoyed baking/cooking, gardening, going to the beach (25th anniversary spent in Hawaii), listening to "oldies" music, and being an animal lover. Some of her favorite things were her cat "princess" Pepper, Elvis Presley, Lilacs, and her family.

On March 14th, 1970, Dee married Michael "Mike" Ryan. Both, from the north side of Pittsburgh, were brought up on hard times and built their loving and lifelong marriage together for over 55 years. Both resided in Washington, PA for over 35 years. She was a devoted wife and parent, orienting her life around providing a loving and caring place for many(animals included) to call home.

Dee is survived by her husband, Michael Ryan; a son, Dennis (Andrea) Ryan; a daughter, Laura (Todd) Ryan-Taylor; two sisters, Mary Singer and Michele Balfour; a sister-in-law, Alice (Scott) Ryan Rice; and eight grandchildren, Michael Pearson, Alyana Pearson, Logan Ryan, Jesse Ryan, Miranda (Chris) Ryan, Mariah (Dallas) Ryan, Mick Ryan, and Jackson Ryan.

Deceased are two brothers, Leo Cunningham and Thomas Cunningham; A sister, Evelyn Ristanovich; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 12th, 2025, at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington Pa, where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 13th, 2025, with the Rev. Chris Stillwell officiating. Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
