Brenda Kay (Lynn) Hall, age 82, of Washington, passed away at Premier Washington on January 17,2026.

Born on September 4, 1943, in Washington, a daughter of the late Amzi Lynn and Kathryn (Mellinger) Lynn.

She graduated from Dunbar Township High School in 1961.

After graduating, Brenda Kay went on to attend Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing, where in 1963, she passed her board exams and became an LPN.

After becoming an LPN, she held many jobs over the years in her field, including working for Washington Hospital, South Hills Convalescent Center, McMurray Manor Nursing Home, Community Care Agency, and ended her career at Horizon Seniorcare, where she proudly held positions as Charge Nurse and Treatment Nurse. Transcending all her many jobs was her passion for nursing, her knowledge and expertise in the field, and her drive to help others.

Brenda Kay was a devoted member of Chartiers Crossroads Presbyterian Church, having served as Deacon, Director of Christian Education, Director of Bible School, Director of Release Time, Director of the Junior Choir and Musicals, Church Librarian, Coordinator of Weddings and Funerals, and was a teacher for the Sunday School, Release Time, and Bible School. She also loved cooking for her family, reading, crafting, and making floral arrangements under her own company, “Brenda’s Creations”.

On March 9, 1963, she married Raymond Louis Hall Jr., and they celebrated 46 loving years together until his passing on April 9, 2009.

Surviving are children, Jeffery Hall, Michelle (John) Warchol, Gregory (Paula) Hall; a sister, Dorothy Clawson; grandchildren, Joshua Hall, Donald J. Higgins, Brandon (Nicole) Ansell, Kayla Clark, Britteny (Justin) Kinskey, Natalie (Nixon) Collin, Kaitlyn (Frank) Tennant, Austin (Samantha) Warchol, Victoria Warchol, and Samantha (Matthew) Hartig; 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a beloved friend who has been in Brenda’s life since first grade, Joyce Shmgalsky.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jay Lynn; son, Brian Hall; granddaughter, Tammie Leonard; and two great granddaughters, Amanda Steffan and Kelly Leonard.

Friends and family will be received from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Chartiers Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 502 Hickory Ridge Road Washington, PA 15301.
